Eliminate the Smell of Cat Urine from Your Carpet

Eliminate the Smell of Cat Urine from Your Carpet

The smell of cat urine is horrible and also extremely difficult to eliminate because of the release of an odor-producing protein. Biocide Systems has found the proper way to remove them.

How to Finally Eliminate the Smell of Cat Urine from Your Carpet

Cat urine on the carpet can be miserable: you can do everything in your power to clean it up with traditional cleaning materials, but the moment any moisture returns to the room (such as on a rainy day), the foul odor comes rushing back like flame on a birthday cake littered with trick candles. Why? Well, cat urine contains an odor-producing protein that makes the smell super strong and difficult to eliminate -- and keep in mind that spraying (marking territory -- both male and females do it) has the same protein in higher concentrations.

When cat urine dries, it forms crystals that make its removal so difficult. Regular cleaning agents do not eliminate these crystals, and sometimes other cleaning processes push them deeper into carpets and/or wood. Later, under moist conditions, these crystals reactivate producing the cat urine odor again and again.

Introducing the Liquid Shocker™ and Room Shocker™ClO2 Odor Eliminator*

Proper removal of cat urine requires a two-step process, utilizing both the Liquid Shocker™ and (the gaseous) Room Shocker™. First, you must use the Liquid Shocker™ to eliminate the odor at the source -- if the source is not removed, any elimination of the resulting odors will be only temporary. Always do a colorfast test on an inconspicuous area (just in case), spray the affected area generously, wait 5 to 15 minutes before blotting it, and then let the air dry.

After that, isolate the room and use a Room Shocker™, which will permeate every nook and cranny in the entire room. Both the Liquid Shocker™ and Room Shocker™ are made of chlorine dioxide, which has been specially calibrated to eliminate odors instead of just masking them. ClO2 is positively charged, and attracts negatively charged odors like a smart bomb.
